About Me

Taiwo  got his start in playwriting when he was 12 years old. One of the winners of the Fidelity Future Stage program, his first play was produced on a Broadway stage. As time passed, he became less sure of his passions and found himself in business school at Howard University. Two years as a financial analyst made it abundantly clear he was made for the creative world. Since leaving his corporate job, he has created three projects.

He wrote, directed, co-produced, and starred in Increased Visibility, a short film that premiered at the Marthas Vineyard African American Film Festival in 2021. Mice in The Basement , his second short, premiered at the 2023 Bushwick Film Festival. This film serves as a proof of concept for a feature length script of the same name.

Taiwo also wrote the pilot episode and directed the character design for the animated television show concept, Black Majic.  Outside of writing, his background in finance and experience in filmmaking have made him a natural fit for production management.
